Turtle Island Pottery        Old Fort, NC 

Bird series since 2004.   Some photos are old.   This series was inspired by the Martin Brothers' Wally Birds. Most have heads that remove as lids. The original Martin Brother forms were humidors and the lid held a sponge. Most of these are in private collections, a few are available.  Commissions considered.
All sculptures were begun with wheel thrown vase forms. Stoneware clay.
